can ghost shrimp go in a tank with shubunkins or will they get eaten?

It's possible that the shubunkins will catch the shrimp during molting and eat them. With plenty of hiding places, they stand a good chance of survival (though you may not see them).
I had Amano shrimp in a goldfish tank for months, and never saw them. I think the shrimp were wary of anything as large as the goldies, and wouldn't come out during the day. I caught a glimpse of one hiding under a piece of driftwood long after I thought they were gone.

A good rule of thumb to use with shrimp or most fish,is if they will fit in another's mouth;chances are they will be eaten.Nature at it's finest.
