Adopted another Bushunkin

Well i got a few new additions to my tank now. i picked out a white/Silvery bushunkin and then there was another one there that has been there 2 months he was there when i got my first 2. Very lively fish but his outer gill is missing ive concluded he must be healthy to last 2 months in a Store aquarium with a missing gill so i talked to the manager and got him for 2 bucks. i figured noones going to buy him cause hes damaged and im a rescuer at heart. Funny thing is they at one time were all together at the store at the same time apparently they didnt sell to good LOL. I know im prolly overstocked in the aquarium but it beats the 5 gallon one that they all came from in the store

do you have all those fish on your siggy in ONE tank?

i believe goldfish shouldn't be with tetras and such. goldfish are coldwater fish and the others are tropical.

and as far as the 5 gal at the store, those tanks are massively filtrated and water moving constantly from bigger water sources with no fish. so don't use that as a guide.
4 gold fish should be in 40-50 gals on their own.

good for you! but how do you make up for the 10 or so degrees needed between tropicals and goldies? I once put one of my goldfish in a warm tank, but it was not meant to be

different tanks they all were in one tank and the shubunkins scared the neons LOL so i put the tropicals in the 10 gallon. I started with my 2 shubunkins and a 10 gallon but felt guilty so i got a 55 gallon off craigslist and it came with the other fish so i was forced into a tropical tank. so i put the shubinkins are in a 55 gallon gallon with a big oversized filter and the tropicals in a 10 gallon .
