Ok im hoping you guys can answer this quicker than searching thousands of post. ok 10 gallon did a 20 %waterchange yesterday I didnt vacuum it cause my fuacet adapter broken when i did the 55 the other day and now there is a white powdery looking stuff on all the plants. and when you knock it off it flies around the tank and turns the tank cloudy

On a second note its been about a week in the 55 and there is still fine particles floating around causing a haze i was thinkin of one of those water clarifying products but im trying to avoid most chemicals

Could be dust from your rocks. Did you rinse them good?? Does it go away after a while??

Sounds kind of like diatoms. Most new tanks do get them. How long has it been since a water change and vacumm has been done?
