Hi, I have two good events happening in my tanks today:
1) My injured female Kenyi, who developed pop eye, is responding to treatment! her eye ball, still protruded is about 1/3 smaller than two days ago.

2) My two young Oscars are male and female and have laid eggs for the first time! I can tell eggs are fertile due to their light brown color. I noticed this as I was doing routine substrate vacuum; Moon (apparently female) did something unexpected: she bite my finger! -not to injure me really- shook it a bit to the sides, then released me and retreated to their side of the tank... there I noticed Luna (apparently male) fanning the eggs with his pectoral fins, laid on top of a flat rock they cleaned previously this week.

Congratulations, Pepe! That's great news about the Kenyi and so cool about the Oscars. I would have loved to have seen that display.

Oh MY!!! How exciting! It's wonderful the Kenyi is responding to treatment, good for you! I'm looking forward for you having little Moon's and Luna's to enjoy. Sorry Moon bit you, but I'm sure it was a misunderstanding. She just was just wanting to protect her brood...just like the rest of us old hens, lol!!!
