Hi Im new to the whole aquarium scene and was wondering if tiger barbs and bronze cory's would match up together. And secondly should i buy the barbs first then cory's or vice versa. BTW i have a twenty gallon tall.

According to the compatibility thing on Tim's Tropical Fish, cories are not compatible with Tiger Barbs.

Also, Tiger Barbs are a schooling fish and should be kept in groups of 6 or more. At 3" adult length for the Barbs that would equal 18" of fish, so adding anything else will overstock your tank.

I've never kept Tiger barbs and corys together, but someone I know did and ended up with all her corys being nearly completely de-finned - so badly that two died.

Corys are possibly the most peaceful fish in the aquarium trade, tigers are not. They don't mix! 6 Tigers would stock a 20ga tank pretty much to the brim, anyway.
