What should i have in a nursery tank, all i have so far is some live plants and light blue gravel.

a sponge filter, it will help filter the water without sucking your fry in. Also good stuff will grow on it and the fry will have fry sized food

i temporarily put some plastic mesh around intake, it seams to be working well. and i Finlay crushed the dried shrimp and flake food together all 8 seam to be doing very well, they swim very fast. hard to see how the parents could catch them.

yes i cant believe how fast they dart around, so far none have died on me they all seam to be doing well so far. i have 8 in my nursery tank and 3 in my regular tank and they are all doing great.
