I don't acctualy mind seeing a no-fish tank... But then, that's since I'm a plant addict and sometimes I'm more involved with the plants than fish!

Shall we talk stocking? If you want red wag platys - get all males. You will have no babies (They overstock you like crazy when they breed!) which is good. Remember the 1" of adult fish per gallon guideline. I would get 3 Male red wags, then 6 Neon tetras and a few ghost shrimp. If there are any fish you like - then tell me and I will try work out a nice stocking plan!

So. 6 Zebras (Minimal school number) = 12", 3 Male Platys = 6", 1 FM clam = 5" bio load. That's 23" in total - which is pushing it a bit for a 15gal. Shrimp don't affect bio load. So, perhaps take out the clam or platys so you have either 6 danios and 3 platys or 6 danios and 1 clam. Or, the Platys, Clam, and something else about 6" in total (Perhaps 3 Panda corys?). Personally I say clams aren't really worth the space they take up - people who own them say that guests are surprised that the clams are in fact live, not artificial decor because they don't do anything!

A little about FW clams: http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.u...ead.php?t=7062

So, 7 male Platys will fit quite nicely in there! Take your time building it up, and trey get a really big mix of varietys, make sure that are ALL males or you will have chaos. Platys asre fun fish to stock a tank with - they look stunning if you have lots of kinds.

All the same sex? You'll have to separate them ASAP if they are several sexes to stop them overstocking you with fry!

It's always a good plant to leave the light off the day you add new fish and only turn it on tommorow.
