I don't know if it was mini but it was bad enough to get our large male Red Fin sick. This is our 46Gal.
ammonia- 0
nitrite- 5
nitrate- 10
I was at the
LFS and got some stress-zyme from
API along with a API
test kit which is where the results were. I have added 3 cap fulls of it tonight. This was my first time doing it but I am pretty sure we did it right (the test and stress-zyme).
I have removed the fish from this tank and put them in what we were using as our fry tank. It's a 20Gal with a TetraTec PF 300 on it for 4 adult cichlids 1-Male, 2-Female Red Fins and 1- Male Yellow Lab.
Test of 20Gal
Ammonia- 0
Nitrite- 0
Nitrate- 0 (is it possible?)
Reason- I was dumb and too anxious and did a full gravel change thinking the
canister filter had enough bacteria to support the bio load.
Now to the question for you guys.
From my reading. Is it right that I just need to wait it out until the Nitrites 0 out too?
