i am so sorry i forgot to ask when i posted my other questions, how often do u have to change an airstone? i just got one in the tank, had it about 3 weeks, and its ok but not as strong as it was when i fitst put it in tank,, thanks again

Sometimes they get clogged or start to break apart. You can change it whenever you want to.

What do you guys think of aeration in a tank? have read so many conflicting tales, I have 4 tanks and only use an air pump in 1. Love to hear your thoughts on the matter!

I was advised to get an airstone cos the fish were swimming at the top of the tank, even with filter, had trouble with ammonia, now i got a new Bio wheel and with the airstone they are much happier, i dont knowm much about fish keeping, just learning.
