| I will say this, for one time in my life its a good thing to be a redneck from the woods... I grew up in WV, fishing/hunting was something my dad taught me and I enjoyied. I also helped in the garden. My husbands family owns a good country block here in TN and there are a bunch of cattle on it, and 2 giant gardens, the garden food always puts out enough to can/freeze for another year, in fact I have used corn for 2 years. (thank goodness the corn from the year before last put out good, last year we actually still had corn)
I have no problem w/ killing any of the cattle in the feild and eating it (especially the angus!! can we say ribeye? lol) after I broke my ankle when they got out of their fence a year ago, thanks to the big angus bull out in the feild hes on my dinner list and has been for a while. He also charged at my husband that day.
Kill my cat for food? no fish? no.. I couldn't eat my pets...
unless my pets say oink, moo, or cockadoodledo... |
