The Joy of Saving a Fish's Life!!

Today as I was in Wal-Mart buying tank gravel, I noticed a woman and her daughter asking the clerk about the fish. She said she had a tank at her father's house she planned on setting up. She was holding a small fish bowl in her hand and asked the clerk would it be alright to keep the fish in the bowl until she got the tank setup. This buffoon told the woman yes, and that she only had to have the tank setup for 24 hours before putting the fish in the tank. :

Now she wasn't planning on having a heater or filter either. As I was standing behind the clerk, I spoke up and told her that yes the fish would probably die, and that she needed to cylce the tank first because of the nitrates and ammonia and whatnot. I said at least two or three weeks before adding the fish. The clerk tried to contradict me but I stood firm. :P With the clerk's back to me I answered the womans question about should she wait to get the fish by nodding my head "yes".

Then he tried to sell her a beta saying it didn't need a filter or heater and when she looked at me I nodded my head "yes, it does". The lady ended up telling the clerk she was going to wait to get the fish. Hooray!!!
