What are your water tests running for Nitrates, Nitrites, and
ammonia? This is what determines when you can add fish rather than a time limit. If the water parameters are good that means the cycle is complete. Then you can start to add fish.
If you don't have one yet you need to get a Master
test kit. Most of the members of the forum that I have heard mention them have the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (
API) test kits. Be sure to get the kind with the little bottles and Test tubes. NOT the dip sticks (dip and read type) they are notoriously inaccurate.
Then when you have tested your water, if you would post the test results, we can give you a better answer to your question.
Welcome, I do not believe that I have posted to you before and I hope you have as good a time on this forum as I have had since I joined. These are great people and they love to help.
