I've already asked this in a separate section but I just wanted to get some opinions over here. I recently moved my betta who was showing possible signs of fin rot (ripped tail, shorter in places) to a ten gallon, uncycled tank. I treated the water and made sure the temp was the same as the tank he was coming from. Once he was in I added Fungus Clear Tank Buddies to either fight the finrot or prevent it. Then I added bio-spira to the filter. My question is will these things counteract each other since one kills fungus and bacteria and the other is bacteria? Thanks.

Me again I thin it should be fine. The meds are for bad bacteria, and shouldn't hurt the good stuff. But that's good to hear what others say...

I think you should be fine. For your own satisfaction check the water parameters about every other day (just to make you feel better )
