Hello

I'm planning to introduce a school of 8 serpae tetras in my 20-gallon tank, but first to be examined in the quarantine(7-gallon) tank. But I heard that introducing too many fish at the same time may disturb the cycle. I also heard that not having enough schooling fish in the tank may result to fin nipping. How can I introduce a shoal of tetras in a tank?

I would probably either do 4, then 4 or 3, then 3, then 2 (each addition with at least 3-4 days in between).
