Right....I know coz i've read around that bettas don't go with cardinal/neon tetras right?......but at my local fish store they had a blue betta in with about 15 cardinals!?!?!?!.......someone came in and purchased the betta and the store owner put another one in...and strust me this store are professionals...coz it's a big company....reason i'm asking this is coz i want to get some tetras, but as you can see in my signature section i have a betta............any advice?.thx

Not sure where you heard that....I just checked a couple of compatibility charts to make sure and both said they were fine together......Barbs and Bettas, no- Bettas and Tetras, Yes.

The majority of tetras are too nippy to be kept with Bettas--Neons included. However, there are a few exceptionally peaceful ones that can be kept with them--Cardinals, Black Neons, Glowlights, maybe a few others. And anyway, the larger the shoal, the more likely they'll get along, because they have more friends to distract them.
