3 spot or drawf gouramis with t. barbs?

I've heard from many fish keepers that 3 spot gouramis are fine with tiger barbs. What about the neon blue dwarfs? My tiger barbs have been the only tank inhabitants for a few weeks now and will likely resent new company at first. They have a firm heiracrchy already and have not been fin nipping amongst themselves.

Hi Shawnie
the three spot gouramis are another name given to the blue or the gold gouramis. The three spots are two black spots on the body and the eye they call the third spot. Hence.. three spot gouramis. One spot by the tail fin, another in the middle of the body. They grow up to 6 inches and are bigger than the dwarf Gouramis.

Shawnie, I have heard that t.barbs will not fight so much if kept in schools of 5 or more. Also, odd numbers are better because they are less likely to pair up. It's worked for our tank anyway.
