Oto,Tetra,Barb,Guppy?

well i went to all the LFS in town and looked at all the possible fish i can put into my tank. I already have a black molly and a little guppy. I was wondering if I could add a Tiger Barb, A few cardinal tetra, and a few otto into the mix. Would they get along? And if this is to many fish, could i still get them and just do 2 water changes a week?

Don't get a Tiger Barb. They can get aggressive and need to be in schools. They shouldn't be put in peaceful community tanks.

if you are talking about a 10g tank, that would be too many. the molly will be atleast 2", guppy about an inch? full grown are a schooling fish right? and otos get no more than 2" if that, but they are also a schooling fish, or atleast like another same type friend. make sure you don't get an CAE by mistake, believe me it is a mistake!! hope it helped some

I would say get 3 Oto's. You will have to supplement their diet with veggies and wafers. Then get 1-2 more mollies, and 1-2 more guppies. Make sure they are all of the same sex in your tank, so you don't risk getting even more overstocked.

Hi!

Tiger barbs minimum tank size is 20gal, for 6 of them. So, no tigers! They need schools, or they really will rip your other fish up! Cardinals need at least 6's, and can't go in a 10gal with your guppy and molly as there isn't space for a school. Just add 3 more Livebearers, or 3 Otos.
