Im in trouble need help quick

just did waterchange checked my nitrites their at least 1 PPM what should i do i have an oscar in their

what is your ammonia and everything else at? how long have you had the tank?

i'm no expert at all, but if you have nitrates it sounds like maybe you are going thru a mini cycle? what are your nitrates? what kind of test kit do you use?

How long has the bio-spira been in? If you just put it in, don't worry about your tank, if it's been in a month then there is something wrong, so the following would help keep your fish safe.

You can use prime to help make the nitrite safe, but the long hard truth is, you are going to have to be doing lots of water changes.

Oscars are waste producers, until your tank is fully cycled, you will have to do 25% + each day if you test first and the nitrites are still up. It doesn't do any good to test AFTER your change. Test before and do your water change if it is necessary. Good Luck

I'd agree with using Prime and doing water changes every day or 2.
