Help!!!! Somethings in my tank

I am completely freaked out!!!!! My 120 gal tank just cycled and I was going to buy fish for it tomorrow. Tonight I looked in the tank and there is little white worm like things floating in there. There are only a few milimeters and some are moving and some are just flowing. HELP!!! What do I do? Thanks!!

Everything is new in the tank. I used cycle about 3-4 weeks ago, added 4 live plants and waited.

I tried taking a picture but they don't show up. They are really tiny and you have to be right next to the tank to see them.

ugh u dont make this easy do u... lol

i honestly couldnt tell ya then .. could be nothing, could be a parasite...

try waiting an extra day for either someone else that might know off the top of their head or to cook the little boogers out... turn up the heat..

turn up your heaters (u should have 2 with a 120) to 85-90 degrees F.. wait one extra day.. i know its hard but for the fishes' sake and for ur pocket money!!

remember to turn it back down tho.. that would be a bad thing to cook the fish.. thats what salmon is for (i dont eat fish ewww!)

thanks for the info. I don't have any fish so that was my first idea to turn the heat up but I was worried it could make the worms grow faster. Have you heard of planaria?

It does sound like planaria. The fish that you put in there will love snacking on them.

Thanks for the clairfication. I did a water change and that got most of them. I am going to buy 6 black skirt tetras and 3 corys tonight. I am hoping the corys will help finish them off or at least keep them under control. I am not freaked out as much but they still gross me out and make my skin crawl!!!!

Hi Kim - Just thought you should be aware that the general rule is to add only a few fish at a time - 9 fish going into the tank at once may be a little too many going in at once, because your bacteria will need time to catch up to the additional bioload. Of course, you have quite a large tank, so it may be alright for your tank, but I just thought you should be aware, just in case your tank goes into a mini-cycle because of it.
