Algea advice before I screw up.... again

Hi folks.. My little 10 gallon tank is doing great, all cycled and happy. I am starting to get a bit of algea build up, and before I bring out the the big ol' scrubber brush I thought I would ask if I should actually.. well, do anything to clean the algea.

I currently do not have any algea eaters, and I think I am about at the Maximum as far as adding any new fish, so I don't know if that is an option at this point. ( I have 11 little bitty Tetras- 4 lamp eyes, 3 Von Rios and 4 Serpea)
Thanks,
Mike

Algae doesn't hurt anything, but if it is unsightly, scrub away! It's only bothering you. The fish don't mind it!

Thanks Gunnie!
I seem to have this wacky feeling that I always have to do.. something. Sometimes it is hard for rookies to just sit back and do nothing.

Re: Algea advice before I screw up.... again

If it is building up too much on the glass and you want to clean it up, you might not need to buy one of those algae scrubbers. Try using a paper towel. I haven't tried it yet because I haven't done a thing with my algae, so if you try it tell me know if a paper towel works. Of course it means you have to stick your arm in the tank, the store bought ones have nice long handles.
