You can get the plastic ones at the fish store or WalMarts. They go on the outside back of the tank. I use clear tape to attach them to the back.

You can also use black tagboard, black garbage bags, black paint. etc... (well it doesn't have to be black, I just think it looks more natural than other colors.)
