Hi!

The tank is stocked. Don't get any other fish or add salt. The platys and shrimp may not hold up well to the addition of salt to the tank.

Snails would be eaten by loaches. You don't have space for Loaches in there - so squishing them is really the only method.

Kuhli loaches would be OK if you only got 2 and did bigger water changes though.

Ok but what would I do with all those snails once there on the leaf? Throw them away?(Just a thought)

Hi!

Why not set up a small dwarf puffer tank? When the snails are on the leaf - feed them to the puffers! Dwarf puffers are like underwater puppies - and FW too!

Oh I read somwhere that Gouramis eat snails so I bought a Blue Drawf Gourami, it'd active and now that I bought him he either is eating the snails, or they are hidding.

When I put a couple plants in my tank I too noticed the odd snail a couple days later on the inside glass. I kept looking and every time I saw one I crushed it immediately and removed it from the tank. So far so good. I haven't seen a snail in quite a while now.

Yes, they were gone for a while, but there are about two now. I think I will get a dwarf puffer and keep it in the 10 gallon.
