I just got a 55 g tank was wondering if u guys no where i should go to get a stand or a link

depends on your thoughts. I have a 30 gal and I enjoy having right on an old rug on the floor. i like to sit right on the floor and watch them like a tv screen
If you want to have them on a stand I would say buy a fish stand of a reeeaaally strong table cause a 55 gal is heavy!

Yes, water is surprisingly heavy -- about 10lbs per gallon, so a 55g would weigh around 550lbs. The entire tank has to sit on the stand without overlapping any of the edges, or the pressure of the water could crack or shatter the glass on the bottom or side.

As for where to get a stand, you can find stands designed for aquariums at any store that sells fish, including PetSmart and PetCo, and even some Walmarts (though I don't think they have stands that go that big).
