I have a new 37G tank that I am setting up. I will be moveing my danios and Cherry Red Shrimp to the new tank and using the 5.5G as a QTank. Should I leave the gravel in it? How far should I strip it down?

It is best not to have gravel in your QT as you will need to clean every thing in the tank if you have treated anything in there. Plus it helps to see if things come off the fish. if you do really want some gravel, I would only use a little to cover the floor and bin it once a fish has been treated.

i'd go with a basic setup for a q. tank.. a layer of substrata (we use flat round marbles) and maybe a cave and silk plant.. the shrimp will want and appreciate hiding places. those little sunken ships seem real popular with the cherry shrimp.
