I currently have 2 Platies in my 10 gallon, and will be going to my LFS in a little bit. I was wondering besides another platy, which I will add later, is there any fish I could add to the tank? I was thinking something like a dwarf gourami, but I was not sure if I would have enough room. If not, what are some good inverts I can add to the tank? Thanks for the help!

A dwarf gourami and 3 platies should be just fine. Best of luck.

a dwarf gourami should work out with a trio of platys.

Well I went to the LFS, and I bought a Flame Dwarf Gourami. Unfortunately, I can not get pictures until Christmas because my camera is broken and I probably won't get a new one until then. But, by that time, I should have the last platy, so you can see the whole tank.

those are great gourami - don't see them much around here.

Really, because they have a lot around here, with some amazing color. They also have a bunch or different varieties and species of gouramis around here. But for example, there aren't a lot of endlers livebearers around here. Its weird how different the fish selection can be depending on where you live.

If they had a lot of female gourami that is definately a difference from around these parts.

No, they only get the females once in a while from what I was told at the LFS yesterday, but if you asked, they could probably order them for you. The reason why they don't is because people often want the color which unfortunately the females don't have much of.
