y do all my fish keep coming up for air and some even just stay der. the waters clean but have just put in 3 angel fish and 2 rope fish ne ideas some1 please help.

Sounds like your water parameters are out of whack. Have you tested the water for ammonia and nitrite? Both are toxic to fish, and both can cause the symptoms you are describing. Was this tank cycled before the fish were added? Read this link if you not sure. http://www.fishlore.com/NitrogenCycle.htm

I would change out 50% of the water and see if they don't improve.

do you have an air stone in the tank? the water chemistry is the issue, but an air stone would also help if you don't have one. how big is the tank?
