smallest freshwater fish
Hi guys
I am looking for companions for my male molly in a 12G tank. Our pH is 8.0. I'd like really small fish that he wont' eat, and that wont' attack him.
My male was constantly bullied by his tank mates. I've tried putting him in a new aquarium, then later adding mates, but no matter what, he gets bullied. I've had him ages so I don't think it's because he's sick or anything.
So now he's on his own with a couple of molly fry, and acting lonely.
Am thinking the safest bet is small fish. Perhaps other livebearers like endlers or guppies. All females of course. But I am also toying with the idea of a school of neons or similarly small fish.
Any thoughts?

Ah well. I had to go to the fishstore so I got 2 female platies. The balloon molly fry (about 2 m.o.) seems interested. He tries to school with them. It's cute.
I also bought 3 corys. Baaaaaaaaaaaad girl.

I've decided to not separate them and lost the whole batch. On my first batch, none would be eaten but since then... Just to prepare you in case you get the same kind of odds.

Re: smallest freshwater fish
lol every morning when I wake up and they are still in hiding I get nervous.... lol but then they all come ou twhen I feed and it seems like the gravel is moving!!
I'm prepared... unfortunately, it would be for the best if most of them were eaten. Once I notice that they are diminishing, I'll put a couple in the net.. but righ tnow, I just can't!

we'd love them, but a trip to denver would be too hard on the little ones.
