well, my blue isnt getting along with my pearls at all, she doesnt like having other fish in "her" tank, so im gonna trade her in, question is, what should i get? i was thinking about a dwarf gourami, or a female paradise...but the lfs im going to has about 4, and i cant tell the diff between male and female b/c their colors are really dull

any suggestions?

Well, you have a total of 3 Gouramis, right? Maybe 2 of them have formed a pair and the third one is being rejected? If they're a pair, the chances are that whatever the next Gourami you get, it will be rejected too.

I think mated Gouramis are similar in behavior to mated Angelfish. Angelfish pairs, especially during breeding times, are not very tolerant of other fish, even of other Angelfish.
