Many fish products.

So i am continuing to research everything there is to know about fish and this hobby. I just had a few questions. I understand cycling is one of the most important precursors to fish keeping, if not the most important. There are so many products out nowadays that help speed up cycling or claim to, and i just wanted to ask. Are they really worth buying, and if they are worth the money which ones are the best/would yall strongly recommend? I know that it is very important and i want everything in my cycling process to go well before i even think about putting any fish in my tank so i just wanted to ask.
Also, again about products, are all of these products like water conditioner and such worth the money and effort trying out. Not that i am trying to skim out of what is necessary but i just want to know before i try them and find out that they weren't worth buying.
Responses plz?

Re: Many fish products.

Oh, and i had one other question. Do you think it would be a smart idea to possibly invest in an autofeeder? and by asking this i am not saying that i will forget/not feed my fish... lol so i don't want to give the wrong impression.
I don't want anyone thinking i am getting fish just to not feed them...

auto feeders i dont like they may malulfunction and either: feed ur fish to much , break, not feed ur fish at all .

and i think many other members have had this happen including my self i dont think its really a good idea

Peace Out Callum!

Re: Many fish products.

The only product that's shown to be useful in cycling a tank faster is BioSpira, which has to be refrigerated and has a short shelf life. The others have bacteria, but not the right kind. we cycle tanks fishless without any products to help.

A water conditioner is very important and Prime is the best one. Novaqua+ is another good one.

autofeeders seem to be a waste of money - i've heard too many people tell of buying them & having no luck getting them to work right.
