Its probably a stupid question.....

I have a 5'' Pl*co, and i just noticed these brown spots and stripes on his body

i was wondering if this is at all normal,

please help i dont like worrying about him

Most likely it's just his markings. Pleco's are all assortment of mottled bowns and blacks. Unless you see something fuzzy, all is probably well.

ive just never seen a reg pl*co with stripes

i have seen clowns with them, but hes not a clown...

if you search out pleco's you'll find a whole variety. I don't remember who it was here, but someone just posted a thread about getting their hands on a leopard pleco that's just amazing!.

yea.. it's amazing the number of plecos out there. www.planetcatfish.com is one that any cat owner should have.

you shouldnt have that much to worry about... thats normal plecos are all different colors and shades

its prbably not a common then. As flbc says theres an amazingly huuuge amount of different types of plecos!
