Re: HELP WITH AGGRESSION

I think he's serious. Other members use time-out to shake out a fish' attitude. Never worked for my fish, though. They also recommend to move the decoration while the fish is having time-out, so that decreases its sense ot territoriality.

Re: HELP WITH AGGRESSION

They dont' eat with silverware but we don't either. I have to admit something REALLY anthropomorphic that I did the other day. I went to an earthenware store that sells plates and stuff to find mini bowls to try to put my sinking pellets in. I bought one per fish tank!

That's actually a really good idea...prevents the crumbs from sinking into the gravel and making a mess.

Kevin--have you tried a time-out yet? If that doesn't work, you may have to separate them. Some Dwarf Gouramis can be really aggressive.

Re: HELP WITH AGGRESSION

Well it doesnt work (my really good idea). I've found that the sinking pellets are actually SLOW sinking pellets. Any idea how I can get them to stay in the bowl directly? Even if I soak them in water in the bowl first, they'll start floating about on contact with the water.
