Im going to get rid of my 10 gallon and was curious if i should put the pleco in the 55 with the other pleco, or pick out the nicest one and keep him? They actually came together with the tetras and swordtail but i seperated them when i got 2 tanks. Im more worried about not enough algae or food for them . I guess if i give them algae disk more often eh?

wont both of the plecos be alot for a 55 if so i would give one to a LFS. but i think the algae disks more often would be fine maybe a member that has more exp with plecos will see this

I think it should be fine. There will definitely be no shortage of algae in a 55g.. What are you planning to do with the other fish?

2 in a 55 is too much bioload for the bacteria to keep up on...if you want to do more frequent water changes you could keep both..but that would require a couple times a week as they mature....feeding them more will only add to the waste ...id return one
