Is this enough filtration for a 75 gal?

I plan to slowly purchase all the equipment needed for a 75 gallon fish tank. I am aware of the type of heaters/heating that I'll need but I am not clear on the filtration yet.

I am definately getting a Rena FilStar xP3 canister filter but what additional filtration would I need? Do I need a HOB filter as well and if so I am hoping I could go with a Marineland Penguin 350b power filter. And possibly stack those with a Luster Hydro sponge filter, too. Can I go with all of that or would you change something?

If it helps, I plan to keep an Oscar, a JD and a pleco in it when I get all the stuff needed to set it up.

Re: Is this enough filtration for a 75 gal?

hmm. I know Isabella has an xp2 or 3 and I think Gunnie does also so they would be one to ask about that filter but I know eheims are extremely good and if you can spend the extra cash get an eheim. Depending on the type you may or may not want to add a HOB though it probably wouldn't hurt at all. Best to ask Gunnie, Butterfly, Dino, or Isabella on canister filter's as they are the one's who use them the most here, don't know of a lot of other members that do.
