is it ok 2 use 2 filters in my new set up as there is a filter built in2 the hood of the tank and i will b swappin my current fluval filter over lol does this mean the water will b better filtrated with 2 filters in use ?? or does it cause difficulties ?

I hear everywhere around forums that there is "no such thing as over-filtration", so I suppose it would be OK for you to use 2 filters. I am getting for my 75 gallon tank a filter that is designed for 175 gallon tanks. I've been told on Plant Geek it's perfectly fine to do that. But if you have delicately-finned fish, just be careful not to have a "whirlpool" in your tank, lol.

I have 2 or 3 (2 HOB and 1 sponge) on almost all of my tanks. But then I either have puffers or overstock a tad which requires more filtration.

I think it's better to have two, then if one breaks you have another one all cycled and already at work.
