Penn-Plax Cascade 1500

Anyone heard of this filter? I just bought it from the LFS, and checked some reviews and it seems ok, very quiet... does anyone here have first hand experience? how does it do as far as actually keeping things clean?

I've read good things about it and trust the brand. That is a HOB model is it not? I think it should keep your tank clean.
