Anyone used these pumps before? I find mine quite noisy. Just wondering if it's a flaw in the design or just my pump.

I've never used this air pump. The only air pump I have ever used is Tetra Whisper one for a 40 gallon tank (it's connected to my 2 tanks: 10 gal. and 30 gal.). It's VERY quiet. It's standing on little rubber "legs" which is what absorbs all the shock and vibrations, and thus makes it very quiet.

I believe we have one like that in the fishhouse, they are loud by design. (wouldn't like that noise in my living area, but in the fishhouse it is drowned out by loud music. )
