Where are my uploaded photos
Hi,
I uploaded some photos to aquarium of the month, and to my gallery. I am not able to see them. Even search with my username returns no photos. But when I go to upload photos page, I am seeing my disk quota keeps increasing after every upload.
Btw, there are two upload/submit buttons in the upload page. If I click on first one I get an error disk allocation failed. If I click on second one I do not get errors. Can you pls. tell me the difference between these two buttons.
Thanks,
Alex.

Your gallery setting was not selected in your profile settings. You can view all your profile settings/info by clicking on the "My Settings" link in the menu. I think if it's turned off or not selected you'll have probs uploading to the gallery. I turned it on for you and you should be able to upload now. Lemme know if you still experience problems.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm having this same problem...and I've already looked in all of my settings and profile information, and haven't found any options relating to my gallery. This is the error message it gave me:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1942 bytes) in /home/fishlore/public_html/fishpicture/image-inc.php on line 103
When I go back in, I'm being told I have 2 pictures in the queue, and how much memory is being taken up by them, but there are no options for me to enable my gallery. I double-checked every settings tab.

Luna - I double checked your profile settings and they look fine. I'm running a scan of the photo db now and rebuilding images to see if that was the problem.
How big (file size) are the files that you're uploading? That error message makes me think that the script that runs to resize the photos ran out of memory, which makes me think they were big files.

Hmm, those are big images but they are not too big and shouldn't be causing a problem. Can you try to upload one again at the original size and see if it works. If it doesn't work can you resize one and see if works then? Here's a link where you can resize photos online: http://www.picresize.com/

Got that error when trying to submit just one again. I can resize it pretty easily, how big should I make it before trying again?

I'll have to research on the photopost site why you're still gettin that error.
Resize them to be like 800 pixels wide and see if that works.

It worked at that size, so I think it's the dimension in pixels that it didn't like. Odd, but it's easy enough to resize.

That is weird, the max size for width and height is set to 2500x2500 but I guess the script that resizes the photo to the middle sized image ran out of memory resizing the original photos.

Yeah, I am able to upload after I reduced the dimension.
