RESOLVED - Signature issue - can't change my signature

I cannot change my signature. I keep getting this:

Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 8 line(s).
My signature is barely 2 lines.

That is strange! I know the message you are talking about and do not understand why after two lines it would come up for you..

could it be an issue of characters used?

Like COBC said, perhaps it's a character issue. Can you PM me what you want in your signature and I'll try to add it for you?

All I want to do is change the sizes of my tanks in my signature....sometimes it lets me sometimes it won't.

You might be at the character limit in sigs which is 300 excluding any kind of html and bbcode markup. You can create a post in the "members tanks" board and track your tanks there and then just put a link to that post in your signature. See my signature to see what I'm talking about.
