RESOLVED - Why can't i stay logged in?

When i submit this i will be logged out? when i go to another page i get logged out when i do anything i get logged out? And also my PM box is 100% full with 1 message in?

Up at the top where you login there is a "remember me" check box, try clicking that when logging in to see if it fixes the problem. Also, it could be a web browser problem if you have your browser setup not to store cookies.

The PM system here is based on post count. You don't get to use the PM system until you have a certain number of posts. This is to limit/prevent spam. Who are you needing to PM after only 4 posts?

when this is submitted i get logged out same happens when i do anything click on new page whatever? I doubt its this site probs something to do with browser settings or something but i ain't no expert with computers. So if someone can point me in the right direction it would be much obliged,cheers.

Still cant stay logged in ive tried everything i can think of Is it worth re-registering? I recently did a virus scan which ive found today removes tracking cookies could this be the reason? Hope someone can help im fed up of giving myself a headache!

you most likely have to change the settings for your cookies in your web browser. It sounds like you're browser is either not allowing cookies or making them expire immediately.

I'd also recommend using Firefox for your web browser.

I've done it at last! i can stay logged in.I'll explain what i did now so hopefully you dont waste 6 hours of your life like i did! I basically got to the point where nothing i did in tools helped(internet options,deleting cookies n such).I went into mcafee switched everything i could to do with cookies n web browsing in a trial n error method.Updated to ie7 to see if that helped,nothing i gave up.I had 1 last go today i looked in parental controls (only place i'd not looked) and in there you can click on cookies and add addresses to a list that allows cookies of that site no matter what your settings.Strangley this was the first thing i tried to do but when mcafee updated i lost where this was.Its probably obvious to most but for those of us who only just started using computers again i hope this can be of help.
