RESOLVED - where did all the pictures go?

where did all the pictures tat were uploaded in out bulletins dissappear to? when might the forum possibly be finished?

Hi Wolfgang. Which pictures? Sorry I don't know what the bulletin is, must be something I've missed.

I know that my picture in my signature had disappeared, but I presume that' not what you're talking about?

i was talking about all the pictures people have uploaded like in the members tanks area. some are still there but they probably used photobucket or something like that. but mainly the files that were uploaded through fishlore are all gone

The pictures posted in our posts and hosted on the FishLore server look to be gone now, but hopefully that's a database error that can be fixed.

OK, thanks, Wolfgang. I was looking through a couple of picture galleries and the pix are still there, it seems. Like this one for example Betta Photos.

Could you tell us the link of one of the threads where the pix have disappeared?

OK, just checked another gallery (the fry one) and there lots have disappeared. Oh no. I really hope it can be fixed. We all worked so hard to build up the photo galleries...

Mike has a major database re-build on this one. He has to re-link the entire images db to the threads! I'm sure they will be back, it's just going to take a while, and he's been busy fixing all the other glitches that we have all been pointing out!

That's one way to look at it I suppose! (However, patience is not something that I am well known for! Fish I give exceptions to, technology, I don't)

Oh cool. So you reckon we will reccuperate the pix, eventually? That's great news.

Yeah, that is something I'm workin on. I tried multiple times but the server kept choking about halfway through the process of the attachments import. Will try again tonight.

No its not urgent! The important thing is that the forum is running, but we all know how much we like our pics!
