whats happening?

first the gender signs vanished, now the flags have vanished? it seems our profiles are slowly fading away...... whats happening? will we disappear?

I couldn't get on earlier, I kept getting a message saying somthing about the site crashing or somthing.

Yeah, it said there was a problem with the database and that the server was busy.

Me too. I had a different kind of message, though. Somethign about a crash. Was down for hours. I actually wrote to Mike to ask if he thought maybe that was a firewall message from our network, and that my boss was onto my forum skiving activities!

The same thing happend to me. something like the ...table has crashed and should be repaired.. I thought i got put out from the forum!

something bad about bettas!?!? uh-oh.. someone's in trouble now! <grrr> lol... yea, there seems to have been some sort of huge crash this morning and given how crazy restoring a server is, i'm not surprised there are some errors.. hopefully they'll be resolved soon so that mike is able to fix up fishlore

No! He's right. It's not the forums that are disappearing, it's little things about us. First our gender, then our nationality. What if it's my registry date that goes next, or my membership status? I won't know how long I've existed, or how I rate compared to, say, FLBettaCouple.

the gender signs and the flags were also available under the no. of posts that we see at the left of each topic now.

I think its a shame that the flags have gone because it makes it easyer when you are talking to people about things

I'm gonna try and get the flags back as soon as I upgade - I really liked them too. Been backing important files up for the last hour just in case something goes wrong with the upgrade. Upgrade will happen very soon.

I'll try and make posts detailing how to use the new features as I come across them. Most of the features I've been messin with have been for some of the moderation functions.

I like the google map "place your pin where you are" feature... are there plans to have a master map available so we can see all the members at a glance?
