More member categories?

Hi Mike

I was thinking that it's odd that I am already a hero member, although I've only been on the forum for about a month.

Perhaps we could have more categories, like one at 500 posts, one at 1000 and another one at 5000? That way, credit's where it's due for our huge contributors. Not sure what kind of privileges you could associate with these. Maybe it could be just for info/recognition.

I do feel like a fraud in my messages at times in case people think I am as experienced as our real heroes. Where ambiguous, I always explain I am only a beginner too in my posts, but it seems odd.

Anyway, I guess am saying instead of demoting the lower part of hero members (as I am verrrry proud of the promotion!, perhaps we could further promote the really high contributors in recognition for all their help?

Yea, i like titles like "supreme overlord" or "chicken of the sea"!

It's still a relatively small percentage of members that are Full, Senior and Hero members. Perhaps down the road a bit, I'll update the the post limits for the member groups.

me too! i'm classed as a hero but i'm still learning and certainly not confident about fishkeeping. i also stress where necessary to beginners....dont believe what i say...wait for someone else's opinion...i could be wrong!!

not unless you're a politician which i very much doubt!! they are not heros and do screw the world up!! i'm starting to ramble already!!

maybe politicians would make good astronauts on probes that we could shoot into the sun?
