New member map

anybody else agree the member map is a little tricky and isnt very user friendly? We should get a new one.. but thats just my $.02

What do you mean a new map? Explain the idea a little bit more please.

Well like im a member at Daddyplace.com (its a forum for dads.. but anyway) and in your profile you can mark your place on the map. then at the top there is a map link and it shows where all the members are located.. much like here but its much easier and user friendly. it uses google maps for the job, pretty nifty since you can toggle between satellite, map, or hybrid.

you cant really see it unless you join that forum but its a pretty simple concept just using google maps..

It's a cool idea but i bet that site took some a lot of coding time (and perhaps access fees to google) to set that up.

k he says all you have to do is sign up with google and get the "code" and thats it. it will let members even zoom in to their house and put a pin on it if desired, or they can be more discreet and zoom out to just the state or country..
