i dont get it?!

ok, so i have time on my hands so thought i'd set up a poll! went to the poll board and couldnt figure out how to do it. came to this suggestions board and where it says "new topic" "notify" etc it says "poll". why doesnt it have that on the poll board? what am i doing wrong? surely if i hit poll button while on suggestions board the poll will go on this board which cant be right?!

At the top of the list of posts in the Poll section on the place where the NEW TOPIC would be on the other sections clear over to the right side there is a NEW POLL button. You use that one to add a poll.

It might also be one of those things that you can't use until you are a senior member, not sure so if you still can't find it you just have to wait.
