I had thought that too. When you click on it you get some weird punctustions and stuff like (::: After you click post, it changes. Read Smiley Error at the bottom of the Announcements section.

Same here. I get empty boxes with the names of the expressions (that the smileys are supposed to represent) written inside of them, instead of smileys
