Could we fill up the breeding fish page?

I was just browsing around the fishlore website and noticed the breeding fish section only has about 6 species in, i was thinking maybe as a community we could try and fill this up?

great idea there are lots of members that breed here (unfortunately i'm not one of them at the moment) who would be an enormous help!

lol, possibly, but i'll need a LOT more space and some more cash....you wouldn't even believe the list of "future tanks" i've got going big things are going to happen!

lol, yeah i'm lucky the dorm foots the water and electricity bill right now i can't imagine the look on my mother's face this summer

I'm renting an appartment by myself starting in April... at least the only Power Bill in may will be the tanks... though that may not be a good thing...

Just another question to get an idea if we could, Do many people on fishlore want this too happen and how many would like to contribute?

I dont fancy writing about 20 fish breeding pages by myself and i will need help

i'll help.but i only started breeding last sunday.

I can help. I've been breeding off and on for over 20yrs. At the moment I have 2 breeding pairs of Feather Fin Rainbows. I've breed Bettas, corys, convicts, guppies, angles, platies, molly's, apisto's, all very successfully. I'm also currently working with German Gold and Blue rams.

By all means - if anyone has the breeding experience and wants to write up a breeding article on any particular species I can format it for the web and put it in that section. Whatever you think someone would need to know to breed the species. For example, info on preconditioning, feeding, water parameters, mate selection, brood stock selection, tank setup needed, what to feed the fry and fry tank accomodations needed, tips, advice, etc. If you use any external sources please credit them too.

If anyone would like to write up a breeding article you can send it to me: magazine at fishlore dot com. You can send pics too if you have them to that address. I can format it and we can link to the article(s) from the monthly magazines too.
