Fish Lore is a wonderful forum. What I think sets it apart from others is the free exchange of information if it is done with respect to the other members whether we agree with them or not.

The other aspect i would also say, is that while tank parameters we all shoot for are the same as far as ammonia, nitrites, etc, and species of fish mixtures, there is always the odd success and individuality of member tanks (even within my own tanks sometimes) which doesn't neccessarily mean that this should be tried by others or even recomended.
