Aquarium info additions

Hi!

Well, I'm having a little trouble with my Aquarium info here. Don't we need a 'Plants' and 'Heater' part? It would also be helpful if we could add more slots for people with serious MTS!

You could put your plants info under the "livestock" category and the heater inside the filter area too.

Hi!

I do put the Plants in the livestock part. It's OK for some people - but I can't fit half my plants in there! Maybe we could just extend the 'Livestock' section and call it 'Livestock and Plants'? It would be really helpful for us planted tank people.

I just use the "Aquarium Info" for a little overview of the tanks I have.
For a full rundown of what I have in my tanks, I have a "sirdarksol's tanks" thread running in the "your tank" section of the forum.

Yeah, what SDS said. Put a link in your sig to your tank thread if you want to show all those details. I don't want to have too many database calls for the aquarium info drop down cause it could slow down the forum.

ik this is old, but im really noticing how much easier it has been to help people when u can click that tab and see their full tank stats. GREAT IDEA! Thanks so much mike! keep up the FANTASTIC work!

And it is a whole lot better than putting everything in your sig, you would have a short post but your sig would fill the rest of the page!
