sorry about that sometimes I think it in my head but it does not all get on the paper. I was trying to say a sub forum like they have for books and so on where it talks about the different software programs for tank maintance for saltwater and freshwater tanks I am trying to find software and it is hard becasue no where it is anreview for it to know which one is best to use

Since 99.9% of the people here are more computer literate than I am, I'm sure someone will have some good ideas for you.

In my case a software program would do nothing for my tanks, (except the screen saver with fish on it maybe). I am not being sarcastic, I really do know, for example, in greenhouse operations today, watering, lights and everything can be programed, so it stands to reason a person with unlimited funds could do the same with an aquarium. I take it this is what you are talking about.

Hi-tech is the way of the future, and if it hasn't been done, well there you go, it needs to be, maybe that is your niche.

I've tried out the shareware "Macquarium" and to be honest, was underwhelmed.

I'd love to find a program that allows me to plug in my test results and will give me running averages and some useful information, something beyond a fancy interface to a spreadsheet. I can make a spreadsheet myself. And I'm not exactly a l33t geek.

aquarium instruments
the marine fish & reef mini support program
aquarium lab (this one I like )
aquarix4(pretty good )
I have not tried the other two yet but plan on this week most of them have a trail period to test it out
