Tips and Tricks:Suggestion

Hey, not sure if this has been set up or not, but maybe we should have a heading set up for tips and tricks to help out all the Newbies on here. I know alot of them ask the same questions and for advice for setting up an aquarium and common questions like what the temp should be etc. (This may already be a heading) or something. But this way the more experienced people on here could have a place to put all the info for the newbies to check out.

Hi Sword. We have quite a few stickies doing what you describe in the beginners section. When it comes to forum tips and tricks, we have the 'how to' section.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. Its not really for me, though.
There are alot of Newbies on here seeming to ask the same question, thats why I was curious. I skipped right over the newbie stuff when I first joined because I had already had tropical fish for several months, so I never worried about askin what chemicals for the water or proper temp or anything like that.

I have several as well, and the information contained within is considered "wrong" by today's standards of fishkeeping. With the internet, no one seeks information by book anymore (myself included). Hold on to the one you have, it may be considered valuable some day (well...probably not).

well according to it, ther ewas no cure for fin rot. And the only breeds of swords were red, hifin, green and red wag swords. They did have some platy-sword hibrids though...lol. They also only had midnight and sailfin mollies. They had a long way to go.

I like how they set every aquarium up with an undergravel filter.
